The multiple award-winning bed Auping Essential turned 10 years old. It was designed in 2012 by product designers Claudia Köhler and Irmy Wilms. To mark the anniversary, the classic appeared for a short time in the Sunny yellow edition - a yellow that stands for warmth, optimism and creativity. The Auping Essential Sunny yellow was presented in a surreal environment that symbolizes the cycle of nature - but also the inspiring power of dreams. The room concept was realized in collaboration with set designer Tina Hausmann and Bureau Chateau. In the supporting magazine, designer Irmy Wilms explains in an interview why good design must be sustainable.
